Knock backs won't stop me

       We all get them sometimes, I know. Often out of the blue, and often totally undeserved. Ok sometimes, we may have deserved some sensure, but never annihilation that is a true knock back. Knock backs hit you hard, they take the wind out of your sails, and they stop you dead in the water!
        There, think it covered pretty much how they make you feel. Lower than sewerage, ain't that right? Most of us being tender creatures inside the wordly shell we wear, these strikes against us, or something we have done, strike us cruelly down. It knocks our confidence, our certainly with the direction we were heading, and the results we thought we had, no longer seem so clear cut! In short, it's a bummer. Or, is it only me?............no! Of course not. It's only that some people develop a shell, some get to the point they don't feel it anymore, a few, never did.

         Me, the eternal optimist, the perennial support for family, friends, aquaintances, or who ever seems to need my words of wisdom, or helping hand......or heart, get squashed. Yes, really severely flattened. Perhaps it's only the Universe swatting back my big head, that I dare to think I can be of help to others. Only ensuring I don't get too big for my boots. Perhaps telling me I have been carried away with ideas, or projects again. Telling me to PAUSE, take stock, see if I am on the right path or not. Perhaps consider stopping? Take a change of direction perhaps.
        Yes, well after my last knock back yesterday, that is where I have been balanced all day. Trying my dambdest to recalibrate, to re affirm all of my positive aims. To like, and approve of ME! Not to accept this new, and unflattering assessment so harshly handed out! All of my insecurities flower immediately, making of me a giant bouquet of weeds. Not much good to anyone...and certainly not a pretty picture. Only pretending to be a beautiful bouquet. Ah, how stupid of me....again. Yes the label of 'stupid' given to me so regularly whilst growing up, still lives, somewhere deep within.
          Here's the thing though, you can't let it settle, you cannot let it ignite a flame. A fire to burn, blacken, or make ugly everything you are, and everything you intend. Quash it, cover it with love, smother it with confidence and new affirmations.
           Say...I AM WORTHWHILE.
            I AM LOVE. Whilst engulfing the world in it.
           Repeat, I AM ABUNDANCE OF ALL GOOD THINGS.

            Generate peace and love, send out your feelings of confidence, and abundance, cover the world and all it's people with a thick blanket of love. Only ensure you include those who struck you with the words, or actions that knocked you back.
             You know your intentions, as I know mine. No harm meant, no ulterior motive that the world all too quickly accuses you of. If what action is ascribed to you was foolish, or not properly thought out, or if you were nieve in some way. Nothing was malicious, nothing designed to deceive, or annoy. Therefore, do not accept others mistaken, violent reaction. Deny it in whatever way is necessary, then dismiss it.
            Already, I have lost part of a night, and a day, knocked back, imbalanced, hurt, confused, trying to work out what my fault was, what my mistake, and how did I not see. Why should I. No, I say again,         
             I AM WORTHWHILE
             I AM A GOOD PERSON, who only tries to do the best I can...always.
             I AM ABUNDANCE
             I AM LOVE
             I AM !
             No more is necessary,  I AM

Persistance pays off

        I keep writing these, if you like to call them, self help posts. I know they get read, because I have the figures, they are going well, even though I have not been blogging for long. They are building up nicely, I am very happy with them, hoping I am making them understandable, and interesting. I do get some nice, complimentary feedback, so it is all very encouraging. It does not mean I don't become a bit bogged down myself though, practicing what I preach. Everyone, no matter what regime each has decided to follow, usually finds out it takes some sticking to. You must have self discipline, you must be persistant, as erratic just does not cut it. It's the turning around of a sad period, or the regularity that does the trick.

        For example, I advocate finding a regular time to reinforce 'your' picture, the picture of your life. A regime you think you can stick to, because it's no good being erratic. If you can begin your day by mentally going through your creating. By picturing, and feeling the accompanying emotion, and then again at night, every day, that's a good start. Good to get the ball rolling on your improved life. If you had to diet, you would do it every day wouldn't you? What about if you were trying to get fit, same thing don't you think, you would have to do some excercise every day. Even saving has to be done on a daily plan, watch the pennies, and the pounds eventually get saved, so that you improve your financial situation bit by bit. That's it exactly! You have to keep your eye on the main chance, be focused, work on 'creating your life' every chance you get. At least regularly every day, once, twice....more if you can.
          What I was saying earlier too, is that sometimes I become tired, dispirited, busy, ill, whatever. I am, after all working on recovering my health after being ill for many years. So, I do get days that are more difficult for me. Its the nature of the illness I 'had'! note, I never say 'have', because mentally and emotionally I am fit and well. It's at those low times when I must be even more disciplined. When I, or you, have to take a few moments, to go over the plan for your life, and strengthen it. Don't allow yourself to say, I'm ill, I'm unhappy, I have debt or whatever. You must reverse it, by immediately reprogramming your image of yourself, into one more desirable. Cancel out, wipe out, the negative thoughts and feelings you allowed to rise. Let's face it, we are in the habit of moaning, and complaining. We think it helps. Let's have a good moan, I used to say, then I'll feel better. Rubbish isn't it, because I was attracting more problems of the same. Not clever, as I worked with all this stuff years ago. None of it is new, it's only that I fell out of the habit, and back into what we tend to call 'normal'.

           Remember the energy rule is, or what happens is, 'what you give out, is what you get back.' Not in some karmic way, but in a much more basic way by the law of attraction at work. The magnets you hold up...the thoughts, emotions, fears, words, deeds, all emit a vibration, a sound wave, or in this case, an energy wave. This wavelength, is like a magnet, it attracts others towards you, of the same. So that, if you raise your game, of your ideas/ideals, then you must see improvements. Therefore, if you say to yourself, or anyone, "I feel so ill", and before you know it, more of the same! Say, "I'm so unlucky, clumsy, alone, hard up..." whatever part of your life you are bemoaning, and, of course along come more of the same. Convincing you how right you are, how infallibly it happens. "See!" You say proudly, I was right. Change that image!
             Right, as I said, sometimes I get tired, I make mistakes, you will, or do, too. Except we won't let the old defeatism habits, order our lives anymore will we! No, we do things differently now. If you haven't already done so, sit down, plan every aspect of your life. Write it out, collect accompanying pictures ( from magazines, or whatever) I have those on my iPad...easy. This is so you can more easily remind yourself what your life is! You then think on the situation, gather, imagine, remember the emotions you feel then...SEND IT OUT ! As if you already have everything your heart desires. Think how happy and excited you would feel. I guarantee, your days will begin to go smoother. Turn that down turned mouth, into an upturned one. You will immediately feel the result.

             You can do this, we are designed to do this. We have the ability, the gift, the power. It was always meant to be ours, always. Man, power hungry man, twisted the message through the years, until we no longer remembered. Begin now, send out love, joy, abundance....and soon it comes winging towards you. It's not selfish, remember the oxygen mask in the plane? You must ensure you can breathe freely first, before you can help those around you. That's the only way it works.
             From now on, you and I, and  anyone willing to listen, are visualising, and projecting all the excitement, joy, love, and the feeling of everything being right in our world...OUT to the world! If we feel anger, we change it to love, if we feel despair, we change it to hope, if we feel want, we change it to abundance. Negativity or fear have no part of our lives. 
              Banish them, glow with positivity, and love. JOY & ABUNDANCE TO YOU ALL. you deserve it, we all do.

Finances not so good? How you can improve it

       As with every aspect of your life, you can take control of your financial situation, give yourself the edge. Deciding to be pro-active is always good. When you are able to change your attitude to your financial situation, thats the best and fastest way to turn them around. It always comes down to attitude, and action. That is whether you believe in creating your own reality, positive thinking, or nothing at all except organising your finances, as in sticking to a budget. We certainly all realise we must take action if we are to improve a difficult situation.

       What I advocate, with taking action of a different sort. That of working towards creating your own reality, is bound to sound like hocus pocus to some of you. I know it was the same for me many years ago, when I first began to investigate how energy works. As a very down to earth sort of person, I pooh, poohed anything faintly airy fairy. I want proof, I want it to make sense, for sure I don't want to appear some sort of loony tunes for advocating rubbish ideas, without substance. It is also a fact that during those interim years, I have had my proofs many times over. You, once you ask, will discover your own proofs.  A routine sounding quite insubstantial, is exactly what I am asking you to believe. The thing is, for anything remotely spiritual you have to have some trust, some suspension of the need for hard facts.  Even religion has to be believed as something other than a fairy story. No matter how old, and revered the writings. For 'there are stranger things in heaven and earth than you can imagine in your philosophy' as it says in Shakespeare's 'Hamlet'. 

       What it comes down to, is that, if you have no trust, no open mind, no willingness to investigate, then nothing can move forward, or change. That's what I ask you to believe, to trust, that what I say is not only my crazy ideas, but a method well used, and well tested for many decades. That it is not as widely in use as you might demand, is neither here not there. For those of you who have read my blogs on energy before, you will know that your aim must be to build up a strong mental image of yourself in the perfect situation. In this case, one of security, and financial abundance. You too, can begin slowly, play the energy game, test it for yourself. I have no doubt you will soon see positive results. First in the general feeling, and condition of your life, with specific improvement following on from there. Let's try a little natural magic, it can't hurt you, or anyone else.
           Yes, maybe it won't always be easy to follow through with the regime, the formula of plenty. However, as the alternative is continuing to struggle through in the old way, what do you have to lose....except hard times, or worry. I know with me, when the day is not going well, if there are financial hardships looming. Then, the old habits of panic, and despair show their faces. If you can see no way out, no easy solution, it's a worry. I might feel like running around, screaming like a headless chicken, but it doesn't help. Self discipline, I tell myself, use some self discipline and turn this situation around. Then, is the time to sit down for sixty seconds, and re-align your thinking. Stop putting energy into thinking what a mess you are in, but re-afirm your security, your abundance. See yourself happy, and flush financially, your day going well, with the final results being freedom from financial hardship. It does not mean do nothing, of course you must still take what measures you must of the practical sort. It's no good burying your head in the sand. It means, more importantly, you do not have to try to work out how your position might change, only visualise the end result. Let the universe sort out the nuts and bolts of how it happens. Your change of attitude will help you cope with the day. Sending out that positive, happy energy must attract more of the same to you. As that's how energy vibrations work. Whatever the wavelength is you give out, it is what is attracted back into your life.
          Now you know, there is another way to approach life. Another way to acheive what you want, to have freedom from worry, to enjoy abundance. It's time to get off the treadmill of life. We have all slogged along, working hard, making an effort, and getting nowhere. Life does not have to be hard. Take pen and paper, notebook on iPad, or however you write, and imagine, plan the ideal image in ail situation for you. Do not be constrained by writing only what you thing is reasonable to acheive, there are no limits. You want to be a millionaire, put it down. You want enough to help your loved ones financially, put it down. You want to become free from worry, and bills, put it down, write it boldly, with joy. Anything you can imagine, you can acheive. Just never allow the vision of you hard up, in need, or without, take root in your mind. Read your list, envision it as pictures, see yourself safe, secure, happy and content. Surrounded by exactly what you imagined, by what you wrote. Before you know it, your life will begin to change for the better. So believe, but first take action, and expect to enjoy good fortune, and joy.

          Pay attention to what you are thinking, what you are saying. As thoughts, or words, are, or become things. Think and believe only positive situations in your life. Do not let sorrow, or despair take root in your life. Think JOY, think PLENTY, think ABUNDANCE.....and enjoy.

Gotta keep going

        Don't weaken! Isn't that the motto many strong people live by. Or, 'whatever doesn't kill you, makes you stronger'. Or really, whatever thought, or survival instinct keeps you going, when things go wrong. After those times, when we are so sorely wounded, that we think we can never again stand upright, never continue, or worse still, never begin again. Well, I don't know about you out there, I don't suppose your experience has been so very different from mine. We all have the 'human condition' to deal with. The task of learning who we are, and how strong we are. We all have to be brave enough to love, and even braver when that love is gone, for whatever reason.

        I have heard people say, 'life is not meant to be easy'. Except, I think if that's how you view life, you will make the usual difficulties we all have to deal with, even harder. No, please don't subscribe to the theory that life is hard. Look at the glass half full, or half empty philosophy that keeps being bandied about today. It really is far better for you, for me, for everyone, if we can say it is 'the glass half full' for you. In other words, concentrate on the positive you have in your life, and not the negative. Forget what you have not got, and build on what you have! That's just common sense isn't it.
         So, for me, I have to believe it is the first quote of this blog , is probably the one I have subscribed to the most in my life. Kind of beat myself on to my feet again, pick up the pieces, and get going. Let's face it, when life knocks you down, you have two options, lay there, give up, or get up again!  Where you pick up the pieces, or start looking for new pieces, and build anew. Or, certainly to something similar to that idea. but as they say, 'each to his own', that goes for beliefs, philosophies, and the greater way you decide to live your life. Naturally, we wouldn't be human if we did not have our own version of how best to live. Our own version of right and wrong. Good and bad, the 'how' we decide we should, or want, to live. I think the main thing I keep talking of, or wittering on about in these blogs, depending on how you view my thoughts, or my words, is saying to you.....decide! Life can be easy, it can be wonderful, it can be easy...think, JOY.

         Reflect, think about your attitude to life, and is it hindering, or helping you? The glass full, or empty, the way you react to adversity, and the way you set yourself at achieving your goals. That's if you have goals of course. You would be surprised at how many of us, have no goals at all. I didn't have any for many years, or if I did they were simple. When I was little, survive a day at school,  a bit bigger, try to get through the week at home, later still, get a job, get married, have a baby. All of those normal, obvious things we expect we will all do, or should do. Things we hardly ever question, because if we do, the world as we know it, drops on our head. Not follow the rules? You must follow the rules, or at least, pretend you are. That's how most of us are programmed.
           But we can change those programmes, make our own.
         These ideas are fed to us by parents, society, they are things we are told we should be doing. Of course, your list, the one you had, depended on 'your place' in society to begin with. It might be quite different, each of us, to some extent, is the product of our upbringing. How tough, or how nurturing it was for us while we were small, and defenceless. How it prepared us for adulthood. What norms were yours, what expectations put on you, did you follow because you should, or rebel because you refused. From the time we are small, we do things for one of two reasons. One is to please, the other is to displease. These, whether we accept it or not, are out driving forces. Except, I want to tell you, it's self defeating. Break the pattern.
        Now though, you are adult, you have had some adversity, some success....I hope. You can decide how to go on from here. You are no longer bound by the expectations of when you were a small child, or you shouldn't be .....entirely.
        So please, think about your attitude, think about your words, as well as your deeds. Imagine, every thought you have, every word you speak, every deed you do is landing on a set of scales. The old fashioned ones, with two small plates, hanging from chains. All the bad things you think of, that may happen to you, all the fears of what may go wrong, or even what is going wrong already, fall on one side. Whilst all the hopes you have, the dreams, the happy things you want, the pleasant things, or people you want in your life, fall on the other side. Now whichever gets the most on, tips the balance. Do you want to get the good, or the bad falling into your lap, into your life. 
            Which way do you want your life to go? Accept, if you will, that every thought is a seed to grow that thing, that situation in your life. What will you think about, fear, talk of, imagine. The good, or the bad? Take the right decision now, to be the glass half full, or better yet imagine it completely full. You can create your life the way you want it. It may take some time, it may not happen overnight, but it will happen if you persevere. It depends how single minded you are. How much you police every bad thought, every negative fear. As well as how clever you are are at turning around less than ideal situations, and imagining them as perfect as you want them. See your life as a Utopia, why not?

           I gaurentee that a happy, positive attitude, imagining you day as you prefer it, will make your day go better, be happier. You will cope with everything easier. Eventually it WILL turn you life around. You can create your own perfect life. You can leave behind the ideals of others, and be true to yourself, and to your true inner self., your higher being. You can create the life you were meant to have, the life you deserve. You can become the person you were meant to BE! Whilst, on the way, you will be in a position to help so many more people, and to wish peace, and joy to the world. If we all do it, who is to say how we might change the outcome in the World. How peaceful might it become. How joyous.

           Begin today, thoughts are seeds, that become things. What things do you want to bring into your life? What do you not want? Now concentrate on thinking, imagining, and creating in your mind, with your words, thoughts and actions your biggest dreams, your secret wishes. Send joy into the world....and it will surely return ten fold to you.
            Be happy!

How healthy are you, and can your mind improve it

       Of course, you know I am going to say yes, but ultimately it is you who have to think it worth a go. All I will say is, why would you not have a go at something different, it may actually work. Which it certainly won't do if you don't try. Are you willing to settle for being less than healthy? I know all about this, I have an ongoing conditions which has changed my life, made me old before my time in terms of energy, and missing time, as in days I'm ill. Will I settle for that? No I won't! So far I have not cured it, but who knows, tomorrow I could. I am able to confirm I have seen improvements, both in severity and frequency of attacks. I have heard, and seen, others more successful than I, too. 

       I hope you decide, to spend the few minutes every day it takes. It can be done almost anywhere, to concentrate on how you want your health to be. You can do it while you are working out, walking, travelling on a bus, sitting in a cafe, or anywhere you do not have to speak for a while. You will want to concentrate on your thoughts, on your imagining (creating your ideal reality) in your mind. Not only picturing, but building the emotion, the joy, or energy you would feel if bouncing with health.
        What I am suggesting to you today, cannot possibly harm you. I would never advise anyone to leave conventional medicine, or cease medication in order to concentrate on the visualisation. There is no need to change anything, until you are able. Although hopefully, in the future you may be able to live differently. I know that nothing is worse than being unwell, or incapacitated in any way. Why not decide to change that. Concentrate on what you think about your health, how you speak of it too, really police what your mind is doing. Watch your attitude.

         The mind is a wonderful, still not fully understood, but many people are turning their condition around in dramatic ways. Let's be honest, any improvement you can make in your health has to be good. To begin is easy, it's quite simple to change the way you think of yourself, and your abilities. It's being open minded I suppose. Building a new image of yourself, requires no physical effort, no money, and minimal time. The only thing it takes, is some self discipline, but it is a habit quite easy to get into.
          If you have read any of my earlier 'energy' subject blogs, then you will know what the method of creating your ideal reality is. With the power of your mind, you can do tremendous things, 'magic' things. That is why Its important, to take care how you think of, or see yourself. Do you have a vision before you of your ill health, infirmity, or physical degeneration. Because if you do, that's the first thing to change. To police your thoughts, despite what you 'see, or know to be the facts' of your present reality to be. It's a kind of being willing to suspend reality. Imagine, and build the picture of yourself in the best of health, either one you remember, or one that is your ideal. You can change the internal image, easiest when you might imagine. Turn it around to one of good health, flexability, with painless, energetic living. Stop yourself from seeing, or saying how ill you feel, something we all do sometimes. As every time we do so, we are actually reinforcing that illness. 

          Therefore, if you can accept that our body is a product of our thoughts, as is the rest of our reality, that's  the only start you need. Or at least keep an open mind. Then, everything else becomes possible....everything. Just because everyone else does not accept it, or talk about it, does not make it untrue. It merely means they know less, have explored less, than some, you for example. Or, perhaps have a closed mind, through fear, habit, almost anything. We have all probably heard of the placebo effect, where one group of patients are given new drugs, another given placebo medicines, sugar pulls or the like, and both groups show either the same, or better improvements.       
           We also know the mind effects many things in our lives. We all have some understanding of stress don't we, we know what a dreadful effect that can have on health. How it can be responsible for heart, or stroke problems, loss of hair, nervous rashes, or a whole range of ills. Well, stress certainly is of the mind isn't it. If it is able to cause so many problems, why should it not be able to cause positive things too. Of course, it can! You have nothing to lose, by thinking differently for a month or two, and see what happens to your health. See if you actually begin to feel an improvement. Be vigilant though, police what you think, what you say. As old habits are firmly entrenched.
          Doctors know that the cells within our bodies are constantly replaced. Some are replaced, every few months, some take a bit longer, of perhaps a few years. Over the course of time, every cell is gradually replaced. It is amazing actually how much of 'us', is constantly renewing itself. We can surely give this process a boost in the right direction. Why should it keep replacing the parts that do not work properly with those same problems? Why can't it replace those faults with perfection, there is no real reason that I can see. Indeed, I am (my health) is already more improved than I dared hope. No, not true, see how we slide back into old, well worn statements. Of course I dared hope, I planned and worked at getting fitter. Then, when the opportunity presented itself for taking a fitness course I never knew about, well I jumped at it. It was stuff I could do, withy the maximum help, and the right price for then. As that is how it works Unless we accept it as fact, let's not remain passive victims of a habit our body has got into. An image it is accustomed to. As in,'this is what I am like, this is how I must stay'. Not so folks, not so. 'We have the technology to rebuild you' as the old joke saying goes, except its actually us! We can rebuild ourselves! 
        We have to believe that nothing is incurable. Only look at this last decade, the advances in medicines, and understanding of endless ills, being reversed, or explained. As I said in an earlier blog, we are in the era of energy use. Both in medicine, and everything else around our existence. Everything has a vibration, be it colours, moods, TV, illness, and as we know, like attracts like, like magnets attract iron filings. What you believe, what you think, you give out as energy vibrations. Other vibrations on the same wavelength are attracted to you because of that, it is what comes back to you every time. If you think disaster, it's disaster, if you think luck, it's luck. If you think love, it's love. Never mind 'you are what you eat', in reality, 'you are what you think', or 'what you expect, see as your life'.

           Laughter attracts positive vibes, so don't talk about how poorly you feel no, have a good laugh, see your friends, a film, read a funny book, lift your mood. Focus on perfect health, night and morning, and more in between if you can remember. Of course you can remember, it's how you cope, how you feel inside, and look outside. If someone says, 'you look ill', say 'no, I feel fine', and focus on that image, not the negative one. Remember the placebo effect I mentioned. It's when someone expects a pill, or treatment to cure, or heal them. So it does, imagine...if you could do it without the pill. Well, you can! Only believe! Only try!
          To heal, imagine your perfect state of health, hold that image, repeat that message, look at a healthy picture of yourself. Or imagine one. But let no other thought, or image enter your mind. Do not   sabotage yourself by falling back into old word patterns, or ideas of what your health is like. Create your perfect image, and build it, and believe it, hold it, until you are perfect.
         What have you to lose, only problems with your physical state, that all! Those, you want to get rid of, don't you? Go for it, it's yours if you want it.

Life, imitates art?

       I love mysteries, detective mysteries, murder mysteries, psychic mysteries , any type of mystery. I like to read them, watch them, or even write them. I enjoy trying to work out from the clues, who is the guilty one. Who is lying, who it is, trying to create the mystery, the smokescreen, so that the truth cannot be seen. It's a puzzle to solve, pitting my wits against theirs. Getting to the right answer before it becomes apparent to everyone. It s a question of, mmm, a competitive element I suppose. It's also a lot of fun, I enjoy it immensely. The only time I don't enjoy solving a mystery is when the play, or book, omits the right clues, or enough clues. Either, not giving you enough information, or slapping you with it all together without me having a fair chance to decipher the clues, to build the answer.
        In life, do you think it works the same? It's not quite so easy to put together the clues, and come up with the solution to an unknown. Yes, I know, how many of us become involved with murders, or other big crimes or intrigues we need to solve. Very few, if at all. Also, we would be too involved. It's not always easy to see the whole problem, if you are too close to it, is it? Too involved on a personal level, with an angle, an axe to grind, so to speak. I have to admit as well, that my final piece of the puzzle is often pure instinct, a psychic flash if so like. If I were a policeman, or a detective, I would still need to come up with the evidence to back it up. Even though it gives you a new direction in which to search.
          It's actually very clever of those writers to write a story, scattering clues, and false information. All ultimately leading to the truth. I know, as I am attempting to write such mysteries. I know how difficult it is. It takes a convoluted brain, to think so deviously. Even so, it's easy to trip yourself up, or lose the thread. It's just I like puzzles of that sort. I am a bit of a lateral thinker. I don't like crosswords, or even puzzles of the picture kind. Therefore the reasons I enjoy it so, are not clear either. Perhaps because I am a people watcher. I see the fleeting emotions, flash across their faces as they react. Either caught out by the investigators insight, or their accusation.
          How clever are those actors too. Those who are able to manufacture those fleeting emotions showing in their face. Expressions that show their dismay, or flash of fear. That illustrate, if you are quick enough to pick it up, that the investigator hit a nerve, or a truth. I wonder too though, are the actual detectives who really investigate such things, really as clever as shows portray them. Or, are they more plebeian. I am sure detective work is, in reality, even more about 'stake outs' sitting and watching suspects, and trailing through more paperwork than in tv shows, or films. It is after all, only entertainment.
            However, you never know it might change, or even have changed (a little?) already. How much do such programmes effect real life. It must be a little mustn't it? I often think it's actually, a lot! After all, I always maintain that soaps, with their loud mouths, cheating, and fighting influence youngsters behaviour today. I know life is already imitating soaps so, why not accept that other programs may well influence the public in a similar way. Perhaps only time will tell. Of course, I wonder how much time. How long did it take us to get to the point we are today. For some of the soap behaviour to bleed through to reality. Perhaps it just that the young are sponges. Soaking up what they  see. Not always to their advantage.
           Ah, well, I know although I like mysteries, it still hasn't turned me into a detective. Not in the real world anyway. Only in fiction. Is that the answer, do you think. It should stimulate the imagination, we do, after all have the choice of what to be, how to act, what sort of person to be.
          So, does life imitate art, or is it only the other way around? Art imitating life, portraying what's there, and I, for one, do not see it. What do you see I wonder.
          I suppose as long as the brain gets stirred, stimulated, then that's good. Although of course, it can be taken further,  looking at much more than language, and everyday behaviour. Perhaps looking at the breakdown of language, or worse, an increase in violence, and lack of loyalty. I can't help but think it is a real danger. I just hope we learn how to temper amusement  and entertainment, without breaking down society into anarchy before that. I do often worry, thinking much ruined already.
          We should all remain aware of the direction, tv, and entertainment takes us. As well as know when to stop the rot. When to call a halt to portraying the worst of life.
